Back in December 2012, Gavin Heffernan ofSunchaser Pictures and his friends traveled to Death Valley, CA to watch the Geminid Meteor Shower Peak unravel. Using 25-second-long exposures on digital SLR cameras, the group compiled the images into a time-lapse video featuring some stray planets (seen at 1:15 and 2:15) and even an unidentified flying object (seen at 1:30).
